Smoked Sage Pro Self Install December 16, 2016

We wanted the space to look designer, as I am a designer and my business partner is a contractor. This floor was decided upon because of the color and texture as well as the durability. I did not want to use a laminate because of the hollow sound and cheap appearance. Hardwoods were out of the question because of durability and price. I have no concerns buying online as long as it is an established company with a good product.

I personally installed the product, I am a general contractor as well and have installed vinyl plank flooring before. The favorite part of this project in regards to the floor was that we could use a continuous floor throughout the home from the kitchen to the living area to the bathroom because the product is a glue down application it is water proof. Then biggest challenge of the project was laying the floor on patched concrete.

Best advice to others? Make sure you patch your screw holes and seams, installation will be time consuming but easy.
